NEW Storyboard Blog (Music Video)

Storyboard Blog (Redo)

This is the storyboard for my next project, the Yon Yonson Music Video. Now with 12 whole panels instead of 6 which each have been colored and highly detailed for your viewing pleasure. Instead of one pretty simplistic comic this storyboard is 2 pages of art in its finest form. The story begins with an introduction to our main character Yon Yonson who waves and says hello. The next panel introduces his name with a quite convenient sign saying just that. This is done to compliment the lyrics of the song where the first thing he does is introduce his name. Going to the next line of the song is "I come from Wisconsin" which is shown in the 3rd panel where he points to his location on a map. This is done mostly just to fit with the song, although it isn't completely neccicarily. The next 4 panels also correlate with the song. In the first you see Yon Yonson cutting lumber. This derives from the lyric "I work as a lumberjack there".  After that he finishes, celebrates briefly and begins to walk away from the tree he was cutting. This leads to the final phase of the song where he arrives at the street. As seen in panel 8 Yon Yonson walks at a leisurely pace with the sun shining down. During this stroll he locks eyes with a stranger that was also walking. The two exchange pleasantries saying phrases such as "hello" as seen in panel 10.  This meeting scene is crucial for the next scene where the true colors of the tune are revealed. The man asks in panel 11 for Yon Yonson's name leading to a loop of the entire storyboard. This loop is due to the final lyric of the song saying "All the people that pass, they stop and they ask "what's your name?" so I tell them". You may have noticed that panel 12 is identical to panel 2 which was done to show the repetition. This can go on and on till the end of time. Of course for the video however I only plan on looping once or twice depending on how much time each loop takes. I'm assuming that each will be around 20 seconds but I don't have a definite answer. Anyways this is the storyboard below, which I hope you'll enjoy.
