Production Blog: Editing Completed

Today was a great day for the Golden Calf. Yes that's right, the Golden Calf film is now finally completed. It's been many weeks of designing, recording, editing, (and mostly blogging) but it is now ready to be viewed. I spent basically the entire day today working on making every transition clean and nice. I really wanted this opening sequence to both introduce the concept of the movie and to create interest in the topic. Doing both of these at the same time is no easy feat so It took a lot of time to make right. After lots of labor I do think that I managed to pull this off. Another major thing I accomplished was the edition of music. I scoured the internet looking for the most fitting music for my movie. I eventually stumbled upon a REALLY good royalty free music site which I'll have linked in the video description. I went for dramatic tunes to complement the tone of the movie. I used music fading and volume editing so that the music would match perfectly with all of the footage. With all of this combined I think I might have something special to show off tomorrow. I went for a mysterious dramatic atmosphere even utilizing things like black and white. I used lots of different strategies to progress the plot of the story. Since I didn't have many actors I had to tell the story mostly using visuals which entailed more editing. The only thing I have to do now is export the movie and upload it to YouTube. I'll have the entirety of tomorrow to do this however, so I'm doing great. I'm really looking forward to the official release of this film. Till Tomorrow!
